USpack, Inc., was founded in 1978, to supply industrial accounts with self-adhesive tape, also known as pressure sensitive tape. In 1981, the company began expanding its customer base to include retail customers, which included picture framers. In 1982, the Company made a big hit with the introduction of its #501“Big Red” ATG dispenser, and the #500, “red-core” design, which was open-face, light and had the famous “extended roller” design, to which only recently has become a standard in the industry. This same system is still demanded and attested by many framers. In 1988, the company began importing ATG tape from Europe, but due to quality and delivery concerns, it began a relationship with domestic suppliers. It was in 2003, that USpack began selling Cellotec branded products and have found that after meticulously interviewing and customer testing, the quality of the Cellotec brand is excellent. |
